Where curiosity takes flight!

What is Wonder Wings Workshop?

Wonder Wings Workshop is a unique homeschool enrichment pod where S.T.E.A.M. meets nature. It is a space for PreK–3rd grade learners to explore science, engineering, and art through hands-on exploration and creative discovery. We believe that learning is most meaningful when students are active, curious, and connected to the natural world. Our goal is to help children embrace wonder and use it to soar.

“Wonder Wings” represents the belief that curiosity is the spark that lifts learning, and when students are given space to explore, their minds take flight!

What We Teach

Each thematic unit is guided by the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), with science topics as the foundation. Students build, test, observe, and create using natural materials and outdoor spaces as often as possible—whether it’s designing shelters from sticks, exploring weather patterns, or experimenting with water flow. Critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity are central to everything we do.

In addition to academic learning, we intentionally build in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) through teamwork activities, reflection, storytelling, and mindfulness. Students learn to communicate, problem-solve, and build empathy, strengthening both their hearts and minds.

At Wonder Wings Workshop, learning isn’t confined to a desk—it’s an immersive, joyful experience where curiosity leads the way and every child is encouraged to soar!
